Macmillan coffee morning tomorrow

Townsend school are once again this year supporting Macmillan coffee mornings, to raise funds for the charity.  Cakes will be on sale in the Sixth form area at break time, please do bring money in to support this great cause.

Open Evening this Wednesday

Townsend school will hold its open evening this Wednesday 27th September from 6:00 – 8:45pm.  We look forward to seeing lots of prospective students and their parents on the evening and please do share the event around with others who may be interested.

European languages day Tuesday

Next Tuesday is European languages day and to celebrate, all students in years 7 and 8 will be making Lebkuchen (German gingerbread).  The best decorated cookies will win house points for their group!  Make sure you take your creations to La4 at break time for judging later in the day!

model railway exhibition this weekend

The St Albans Model Engineering society will again be holding an exhibition here at Townsend this weekend - fun for all the family!  Please come along and join us to see models, have rides and take part in the games of the day!
