Year 9 career enrichment day

Tomorrow (Tuesday 1^st July) Year 9 will begin three days of career enrichment, including lots of valuable information and educational activities to take part in.

The day will start with a year assembly, followed by special speakers visiting the students to discuss qualifications and grades required for different careers within their own industries.  Students will then carry out Visual Audio Kinaesthetic self-assessments to see what type of learner they are – visual, audio etc.

Parents are then invited in to school in the evening at 7:00pm to see a program on the transition to GCSEs and how to support their child.  We will also share how to use the Show my Homework website, along with other valuable information.
