Today “Live-N-Learn” visited Townsend to run a day’s workshop
for the year 1 students who are coming back to Townsend to study for their A
Level qualifictations as part of our sixth form. Live-N-Learn are a franchise who travel the
country delivering workshops to students based on study and training
skills. They visited Townsend today to
introduce Year 11 to the next stage of their education, increasing their
thinking skills and creativity. One of
the final activities of the day was to “make a creation out of the pieces
provided”!! Mr Parker was present
throughout the day and explained that it had been a fun yet valuable day of
skills awareness and helping students think about the next stage of school.
